Missions

We take the Great Commission of our Lord seriously.  In Matthew 28:18-20 the church is commanded to “go and make disciples of all nations.”  Our missions program is designed to help us to obey that command.  We are affiliated with over 6,000 other non-denominational Christian Churches around the world whose allegiance to the Scriptures and Jesus Christ compels us to be involved in local, national, and global missions. As a result, we are committed to the monthly financial support and prayer support of the missions and parachurch organizations listed below.

Local Missions.

University of Florida Christian Campus House

Our mission of the University of Florida Christian Campus House is based on Acts 2:42 and following. Our desire is threefold, we want to:

1. BECOME FAMILY: We want to be a real, vibrant faith community that loves and cares for each other.

2. MAKE DISCIPLES: This happens within and outside our faith community. We grow as disciples who in turn reach out with the Good News to make disciples.

3. IMPACT THE WORLD: This is done as we take Christ to our campus, our community, our country and our world.

Lake Aurora Christian Camp

Located in Lake Wales, and serving central Florida Christians since 1947, Lake Aurora has a solid reputation for providing quality Christian camping for all ages. Watch the video or visit their website for more information.

Advance Center For Ministry Training

Advance Center for Ministry Training exists to train ministers to be visionary leaders with a strong biblical worldview for the church. This is accomplished both internally and externally. Internally, we will teach the students material that will assist them in developing the necessary skills to lead a church in an “Acts Model” of church growth. Classes will be taught live in person and through Zoom in the classroom. Externally, students who are seeking a certificate of endorsement must also complete a concurrent internship in a church. Internships can be done with Kissimmee Christian Church as the host church for Advance, or at a qualified Christian church that meets the criteria of Advance as a “lab ministry” church.

National Missions.

The Christian Restoration Association

The Christian Restoration Association was established to promote the gospel and the building of Christian Churches and Churches of Christ according to the biblical pattern. Their mission is to be a helping hand to churches.

Crossroads Missions

Founded in 1993, CrossRoads Missions serves as a conduit for organizations, volunteers, and funders seeking outreach and giving opportunities they may otherwise have difficulty reaching. We accomplish this goal by bringing people of all ages into impactful service in the United States and Mexico.

FAME-Fellowship of Associates of Medical Evangelism

FAME is a Christian mission bringing hope to the poor in other countries primarily through medical evangelism. Fairway is proud to support FAME in its mission to help people around the world. We are asking for your help to support this mission by donating much-needed items for FAME. (See list below) Item donations can be brought with you when you come to worship or you can drop them off in the front office during the week. We thank you so much for your help in collecting these much-needed medical supplies. You are literally saving people’s lives!

TCM International Institute

A graduate-level seminary operation near Vienna, Austria that train men and women throughout Europe for Christian ministry in leadership. They want to reach their own people. We’re helping them. TCM International Institute develops Christian leaders for significant service through higher learning.

Partners in Missions

Partners in Missions is the work and ministry of Ray and Pam Tranthan. The Tranthams have been full-time missionaries in the Ukraine since 1995. Their mission is to evangelize the lost while teaching and training believers in the church.
